The inn “Zum Storchennest” was opened by Sigrid and Elmar Straßer in 1968 as a family business.
Daughter Martina joined the business after completing her training as a hotel manageress, and over the years has
transformed the inn into a country hotel and restaurant with a breath of fresh air.
Martina and her husband Karl Borst took over the business in 1996.
The inn was once the center of village life.
How many people have visited the inn over the six decades? Many well-known and interesting
personalities have been there.
There were many celebrations - we like to think back to the good times.
